Alliance GvG event ?

Hi i was just here thinking, and all tho it would take some work it would be good a good idea.

How about an Alliance GvG event? due to people being online at the time needed for fixed teams, it would need to be more lose, when the event is due to happen see what guilds in the alliance can get a team together and who cant, mixed teams would be allowed but wound need to have more guild members than alliance members making up the team, say 5 guild members 3 members from other guilds if they cant get enough to help less active guilds get a team, and see which guilds can get a team together then off they go. Say if over 4 guilds take part put a small prize up for grabs nothing special more for fun that winnings.

Just an idea that could work and satisfy some of the Lest GvG people that are out there in the alliance.

Just something that came to me and i thought i would put it forward. Maybe this has been tried all ready and failed, or maybe Tara is just to busy not sure but will put it out there and let people decide.

We do have GvG already. The BYOB is an informal, just for fun, in-alliance GvG held every Sunday (details on the website). More formal GvG where our guild/alliance battles other giulds/alliances is also held frequently, but not a scheduled basis. The DR guild has numerous people who GvG, three of which are in the HoH. The primary contact for this is Kaldra the White.

The [BOD] guild has also recently expressed an interest in this, so perhaps we're at a point to try a scheduled GvG again. In the past, although we thought we had teams, a few of the team members would fail to be on at the scheduled times. After numerous attempts, we dropped the scheduled GvG idea.

It could work.

It is also likely to fail miserably, but... who knows. *shrug*

The [FIRE] guild is also interested in formalizing a GvG team so I believe it will finally succeed.

I find it very disheartening when only negative and trivial posts are made. As in the game, if one has nothing useful, positive or construtive to say, it's better to say nothing at all.
